Hi! My name is William and I am a TEFL certified teacher from the UK. I have lived most of my life in London so I have a British accent (that I am sure you will understand without any problems)! My main hobbies include playing sports, travelling, learning new languages and eating lots of food! I love to meet new people from different countries and learn about their cultures! I studied my degree in Cardiff, Wales and then my MBA in Madrid, Spain. It was during this year studying in Spain that I discovered my passion for languages! I also speak Spanish, Portuguese and French. I am new here on italki but I have over 6 years experience teaching English!Ich als Lehrkraft
I completed a 120 hour TEFL course in 2018 and have been teaching for 6 years since then! I have taught a wide range of ages and levels, including students studying the English language for the first time and also very advanced students who want to perfect the language or need help with pronunciation for example. I have taught group and individual classes in-person and also online during this time, while preparing my students for specific exams they have to take. Languages are my passion so I strongly believe that we learn languages best when we enjoy the process and there is a very comfortable and safe environment for students to express themselves in the classes. I always encourage my students to speak their mind and to not be afraid to make mistakes as this is how we learn a language! I like to adapt my classes to what my student needs, whether that be to improve their conversation level or understand the grammar better for example. I love talking to my students so I am sure we will have a lot of fun in my classes and you will enjoy learning and improving!
