Pooja is very patient and helpful, I am currently learning to read in Malayalam and for me this is the hardest part. The way she revises with every lesson is really helpful. This was only our third lesson and I was able to read words and construct a few of my own sentences! Very exciting.

I enjoy my lessons with Pooja. She starts with the basics, greets me in malayalam and we practice with a conversation. For new vocabulary she repeats the word so I can hear it, and also writes it so I can see it. Pooja reviews vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation so an English speaker can understand. She is very patient, I ask her about new words during a lesson, and also to repeat how to pronounce a word correctly, and she doesn't mind being interrupted to answer extra questions. Pooja is a kind person and an excellent teacher!

I enjoy that Pooja and I can share real-life stories, as well as our thoughts and opinions on a whole host of topics. For me, Malayalam is a challenging language, and being able to talk to Pooja friend to friend makes learning so much easier. I've mentioned in other reviews that I probably wouldn't have learned Malayalam had it not been for her, and that sentiment is definitely worth repeating. She's great!

I would recommend Pooja to anyone and everyone who's learning Malayalam. She has a gentle but clear way of correcting and offering feedback so that you can really spot your mistakes and learn new things while having a fun and interesting conversation. I'm always happy to see her! Thank you!!
