Rodrigo

I've been working with Rodrigo for just over 5 months now and I've already noticed a significant improvement in my Spanish. My vocabulary has increased, my confidence in speaking has grown exponentially and my overall comfort with the language has increased noticeably. And for the most part, I'm only able to squeeze in 1 hour a week with him, so I can't imagine how far along I'd be if i could get 2 or 3 hours a week in! He's easy to talk to and very patient. He can almost always describe something or some concept to me fully in Spanish in a way I can understand. Along with basic conversation, Rodrigo uses presentations and materials, along with some sound files to practice listening/translating a conversation is 'normal' Spanish speed (as opposed to the understandable speed that he uses with me =). He also usually gives a homework assignment to make sure that I take some study time outside of our class. I highly recommend Rodrigo!!

Rodrigo est un excellent pédagogue, je vous le recommande chaudement! Il est très bien organisé, il a beaucoup de matériel actuel et stimulant. Il offre beaucoup plus qu'une simple leçon d'espagnol, il est ravi de partager la culture mexicaine et de discuter d'étymologie et de linguistique. Il a une grande culture générale et il s'efforce d'intégrer beaucoup d'information contextuelle aux leçons. Il donne aussi beaucoup de devoir et les corrige toujours à temps. Enfin, Rodrigo est très sympa et très drôle, ses cours sont super divertissants et jamais ennuyeux!

He has a rare talent for creating lively conversations that are both enjoyable and highly educational, which makes learning Spanish feel natural and exciting. Rodrigo combines a profound linguistic understanding of the Spanish language with the ability to explain even complex grammar points with exceptional clarity. He is extremely methodical and organized, always coming to class well-prepared with a clear plan tailored to my goals and progress. At the same time, he’s very patient and encouraging, which creates a comfortable and motivating learning environment. Thanks to Rodrigo, I’ve been able to improve my Spanish in a structured and consistent way while truly enjoying the process. I highly, highly recommend him to anyone who wants to take their Spanish to the next level.

Todavía me gustan mucho las clases con Rodrigo. Es uno de los mejores profesores que yo tenia. Mi focus es hablar y con el es siempre divertido. No es solo porque es una persona interesante, tambíen es que tiene una excelente manera de ayudarme con el vocabulario sin decirme demasiado. Me da tiempo para pensarlo y me ayuda paso a paso. Siempre encuentra el equilibrio necesario para mantener una conversación. Aunque no siempre lo siento como una clase, mágicamente sé más vocabulario que antes y siempre me siento más seguro cuando hablo español (o francés). Pero Rodrigo tambien piensa que yo nececito aprender la gramatica. Ok - creo que tiene razón. ^^ Por suerte sabe explicar todo muy bien y con lógica.
