I was born in California, in the United States and moved to England when I was six years old. My father is American and my mother English, so I have dual nationality. I am passionate about language learning and have taught myself French to an intermediate level. I love reading and in particular classic literature, having gained an A grade in English Literature at GCSE level. I am a positive individual who loves a new challenge - in fact I have competed at the World Championships for Irish Dancing three times and have been on tour twice. This has resulted in me teaching many classes for this subject too.

I have been an online English tutor on Preply where I have completed over 2000 lessons, with nothing but 5 star reviews and have helped those achieve educational goals as well as those just learning English for fun.

I am an outgoing person who loves to meet new people from different backgrounds and cultures. I make conversation the primary focus of lessons so that students can learn to construct sentences correctly and fluently. I also tailor lesson plans for those who need them. I communicate clearly and concisely. I aim to make my lessons exciting and use many different materials, including text, images and video to make lessons as interesting as possible.
