My name is Martha Heckel, and I was raised in a bicultural environment, which has granted me native proficiency in both German and Spanish. I hold a degree in *Germanistik* (German as a Foreign Language) from Kassel University in Germany, completed through a distance learning program. With over 20 years of teaching experience, including roles at the Goethe Institute and preparing students for DAAD scholarships, I specialize in helping learners achieve fluency efficiently—whether they are beginners starting from scratch (A1) or advancing to intermediate levels (B2). Currently residing in Mexico, I integrate cultural context into my structured, results-oriented lessons. In 2001 I began to teach German as a Foreign Language at the German Cultural Center which is the official representative of the Goethe Institute in the City of Monterrey- Mexico. In 2012 I taught German at the University Regiomontana.
