Professional Teacher with 5 Years of Teaching Experience Hi everyone! I’m Tim, a native English speaker with a clear, neutral accent—perfect for mastering natural pronunciation. Originally from Canada and now based in Berlin, I blend five years of teaching experience with a professional background in music production and sound engineering. My training in classical guitar and sound recording gives me a keen ear for rhythm and clarity, which I use to help students refine their English speaking skills. Fluent in French and German (and dabbling in Spanish), I deeply understand the challenges of language learning. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced learner, I love adapting lessons to your goals while keeping them engaging and meaningful. I've had the pleasure of teaching children and adults from A1 to C2 using adaptive methods that respect the needs of each individual. While I believe that learning grammar and vocabulary are extremely important aspects of language learning, I like to have meaningful discussions with students, using this context as a vehicle to deliver new language skills. My background in music has helped me to develop skills as an expert in English pronunciation, coaching students on how to develop a clear, neutral English accent. It is worth noting that my skills in English writing and editing are quite advanced thanks my thirteen years of scholastic and professional experience.
