David is very knowledgeable and has good energy in the lessons. Have had numerous lessons together and look forward to having many more on my path to fluency

It's been a while that my son is taking lessons with David to prepare for the C2 Goethe exam. Lessons are very structured: free conversation, homework review, topic of the lesson based on the book or other materials, keeping track of the new term, as well as mistakes on the chat. Very consistent with the schedule. Recommended for serious and motivated students.

It was definitely NOT what I expect from a teacher, but pretty sure it was a personal lack of interest. I expect a teacher at least to ask what my goal is, me needs and etc. Instead he was super rushed, after a short intro we just went straight on a random text and then jumped from one thing to another. I know it’s subjective feeling, but I felt that the teacher was very generic, impatient, provided answers without waiting for my response or try to help me. In general, I am sure that there are students who fit this style since David has great reviews, so it might be he just didn’t like me personally. It’s ok, I am just sorry it left me with mixed feelings why exactly it was his approach - seemed like he was super not interested in continuing with me before we even started (I suspect my origins involved?). On the positive side - he sent me useful links to proceed on my own. Anyway, I would suggest to the teacher not to take students if he doesn’t like their profile or whatever it is.

Meine Stunden mit David sind sehr prägend für meine Reise des Deutschlernens und er ist mit Abstand der beste Deutschlehrer, den man finden kann. Er ist sehr unterstützend, ermutigend und professionell. Er spricht Deutsch und Englisch mit höchster Kompetenz und hat sogar sein eigenes Deutschbuch für die Vorbereitung auf Goethe- und telc-Prüfungen geschrieben. Ich würde also sagen, er ist der Lehrer, an den man sich wenden sollte.
