I'm born and raised in Slovenia, moved to the US in 2022 and currently attend school here. I really enjoy learning and discussing different topics, I also love building friendships with my students.
I initially started teaching on italki for extra income, now I do it because i genuinely enjoy talking to people and helping them improve or just discussing common topics of interest. Everyone is welcome here!Ich als Lehrkraft
I want to give my students as much knowledge as I possibly can based on their interest. I believe that speaking is the most important part of learning a language, so I want to focus on that. If you want to focus more on reading or writing, it is absolutely welcome. Developing your confidence to get past the fear of making mistakes is my main objective as it will open you up to more experiences that can expand your vocabulary and immerse you deeper in the culture. I engage in all forms of teaching. It can be anything from teaching grammar to speaking, reading, or writing. I allow my students to propose what they feel most comfortable with to ensure they get as much as possible from me as their teacher. It doesn’t matter if you’re a total beginner or an advanced learner - I welcome everyone with an open heart. Some students say my lessons feel like friends getting together for a nice talk, which I find very rewarding, and hope to have that connection with as many students as possible.5.0

Maruša is awesome! I absolutely love my lessons with her. She speaks slowly so I can understand. If there's a word that I don't understand, she writes it down for me. Our lessons are a great mix of speaking & listening & she has a great sense of humor. Hvala lepa!
