Great lesson today! I really enjoy how patient she is with me and makes me feel comfortable speaking! I enjoy how she shows up to lessons prepared. These lessons are really useful to help me solidify the materials that I study on my own with Genki and get some practice speaking outloud!

She prepares extra material for me that is geared right to my level. She is patient with me while also pushing me to work hard. We laugh and talk about real life situations and she incorporates what we have already learned into the conversations. She has helped me improve so much and showed me how to study better. I highly recommend her!

This was my first Japanese lesson and I really enjoyed it. Alisa was very clear and had a good structure. I felt comfortable as a complete beginner and have retained a lot of what we went through. Looking forward to more lessons!

I have been taking lessons from Alisa先生 for more than half a year, with the initial intent to prepare for a trip to Japan. Started as an absolute beginner who doesn't even know hiragana or katakana, I can now grasp the basic language structures and started to recognize words and phases from my favorite Japanese songs and TV shows. While there are definitely much more to be learned, this has been a truly rewarding experience. I really enjoy the learning atmosphere from the well-organized classes. Alisaさん is patient - I never feel rushed while struggling to form a sentence, encouraging - I feel comfortable making mistakes, and caring - whenever there are unanswered questions from a session, she is willing to follow up and explain offline. While my first trip to Japan concluded, my journey with the language still goes on. I look forward to further improving my Japanese, and would like to recommend her class to anyone with a similar interest!
