Mari

My first lesson with Mari went very well. She had a clear plan for the lesson but also talked with me about my goals and interests at the beginning. In just one hour I already learnt 9 letters (out of 33), including the five vowels and four consonants. I am so glad I am already able to read many words after this first lesson! Mari also gave me a brief overview about Georgian grammar and some characteristics of the language, plus a few basic greetings. She makes good use of Google document and everything is typed there for my easy revision after class. I am very satisfied! Madlova!

Marie is a very fun and motivating teacher! After just 5 classes, I have learnt all letters of the Georgian alphabet and can now read simple sentences.

Mari has been such a special part of my journey in Georgia. From the first lesson, she made learning Georgian feel fun and easy, even when it was hard. She’s so kind, patient, and always made me feel supported. With her, I didn’t just learn a language, I learned to love it. Her smile, her gentle way of teaching, and how she always cheered me on meant so much to me. Because of Mari, I feel even more connected to this beautiful country that I’ve come to love so deeply. I’ll always remember our lessons, her warmth, and how she made me feel like I was right where I belonged. Thank you, Mari! You truly made Georgia feel like home.

Mari was a very enthusiastic teacher and made me excited to learn Georgian. I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to understand the letters but her way of explaining was brilliant and you get such a good feeling that you can read simple words after one lesson!
