We had a very productive class today. Sayumi Sensei provided feedback that helped me understand the nuances of the lesson we covered. Sayumi Sensei is always kind and patient, which makes the learning experience very enjoyable.

We talked about taxis/uber and how they differ in Japan vs USA. We then reviewed Genki 2 and the まで and かた forms.

We talked all about soccer. It was fun discussing the different teams and players around the world. Thank you for the fun conversation, Sayumi-san!

We went through Genki 1 - Chapter 1. Reviewed how to say time, and completed the exercises. Sayumi Sensei is an excellent teacher. I highly recommend taking lessons from her.

Today, we talked about the hurricane nearby and how it did/didn't affect Hawaii. We also discussed how Sayumi-san was able to see one of her favorite street performers. We then worked through Genki 2 Chapter 23 exercises and Sayumi-san helped me understand some mistakes I kept making.
