I need practice with conversation and that’s what I asked for. So we have a conversation. She asks me questions to get me going and she helps me along the way. I get speaking practice and learn new vocabulary, help with pronunciations and sentence structure. I’m very comfortable with my lesson structure. I enjoy it and I’m getting lots of speaking practice.

I could write this in Spanish, but this comment is rather for someone who is looking for a Spanish teacher and either starting from scratch, or already having basic or advanced knowledge of the language. Two years and 250 classes ago I couldn't understand or speak Spanish at all. After about 60 classes with Yessica I was able to explain in Spanish at the Mexican border control where I'm going and why, as well as order food and ask locals for directions. About a year and a half later, I started conducting technical interviews in Spanish. Now I can communicate with my Spanish-speaking colleagues and friends on almost any topic without using a single English word - all thanks to the lessons with Yessica. She is a lovely teacher and tailors her classes to the needs of her students. Whether it's grammar or conversation lesson, they are always enjoyable and useful. Looking forward to my next class with her :)
