Hello, my name’s Joe. I’m a professional English teacher with a CELTA qualification and nine years of experience. Before moving into education, I worked as a corporate lawyer specialising in business law.

I was a corporate lawyer for five years, a university lecturer in business English for three, and a teacher for some of the world’s largest companies. I've taught English in Japan since 2016. All lessons are original and often include videos, self-assessments, text analysis, listening exercises, and role play to keep each session engaging and unique.
During the lesson, I take detailed notes and use a range of correction techniques to improve your accuracy, both in real time and after you speak.
