My name is Ivona and I am from Portugal. I am a native European Portuguese speaker. I have a University degree in Culture of Science and a Certification as a non-formal teacher. I consider myself very patient, enthusiastic and a dedicated teacher, who wants all students to be successful learners. I love traveling, reading, watching movies, trekking and exercising outdoors. My passion for traveling gave me plenty of knowledge about different cultures. That resulted on me having a different perspective of the world and being curious to learn from each individual.Ich als Lehrkraft
With my experience I believe communication and practice is the best way to learn a new language and to make a person succeed. I am here to work with you and to adapt to your needs as a beginner or as an intermediate learner.

My lessons are based on student's goals and interests. I adapt the way I teach to each person providing different teaching styles and methods. I will focus more on casual conversations, work with the pronunciation and phonetic and exercise the grammar and the vocabulary.

My Portuguese has improved immensely, working with Ivona. The lessons are always fun and the time passes by very quickly. Ivona has access to really good material that gets you thinking and ultimately helps you develop. She is also great at getting you to think through the answers without feeling uncomfortable. I fully recommend!
