I have also lived in Macau for 3 years and in France for 4 years, experiences that broadened my understanding of different languages and cultures. In addition to teaching, I work as a healing therapist. As a teacher, I focus on creating a safe and comfortable learning environment for students who are new to Japanese. My main focus is on beginners, especially absolute beginners who may feel nervous about speaking or making mistakes. Instead, I teach simple and practical verb patterns and encourage students to use them immediately to create their own sentences. Chikako先生 gives you full attention when you speak and really internalizes what you say before sharing her thoughts. I've only had about 6 lessons with her but I already feel my Japanese improving. She gently teaches and corrects your errors, but most importantly, she makes the conversations really entertaining, engaging, and invigorating!
