I've been learning Spanish for about 5 years and María is one of the best professors I have come across. She is very warm, approachable, and kind while at the same time professional and observant so she can correct my grammatical errors. I felt like I was in a plateau until I started having classes with her and I know I will progress farther. I really enjoy her organization of classes and notes and she will give me informative handouts via digital pdf after class to review more. María really goes above and beyond, if you're brand new to learning Spanish María will help you begin with a strong foundation and if you're looking to build off what you already have María will take you to the next level. Highly recommend!

María doesn’t just teach Spanish, she understands the entire learning journey. Every lesson is precise, clear, and somehow always exactly what I need at that moment. It’s like she has a sixth sense for where you are and what will help you grow. Her classes aren’t just informative. They’re inspiring. She knows when to push, when to pause, and always has a plan that feels tailor made. She makes sure you truly understand and remember. You feel supported every step of the way, like she’s right there beside you, cheering you on. Today was my 44th Spanish class. I can’t believe how much my Spanish has changed in half a year from an absolute beginner. But with María, it’s felt possible, even exciting. “¡Y esto es solo el comienzo!”

Maria is great! She’s fun to talk to, is honest, and will go in depths as to why certain phrases are said the way they are. Highly recommend if you want to improve your Spanish to sound more natural

María is AMAAAAAZING! The Maria you see in the video? That’s her, ONLY BETTER!!! I can’t recommend her enough. She is prepared with an immense amount of information, materials, and resources, but she doesn’t hide behind it. It’s for you to use inside and outside of her lessons to help you get to where you want to go. During the lesson Maria uses tour conversation to elegantly guide your lesson to where you want it to go. She is super organized, but it doesn’t at all feel constricted. Two thumbs up, 5 stars, 10/10!

Maria made me feel very relaxed and comfortable in our first lesson. I have tried other teachers on italki, and I didn't have the relaxed vibe that I had with her. She was very prepared and explained all the resources and structure of my learning plan very well. I left the class feeling very excited!
