My name is Aline, I'm French and I am a certified French teacher. I love traveling, learning foreign languages, and doing sports, especially practicing martial arts. In the coming years, I plan to pursue a PhD in foreign language didactics. I enjoy sharing contemporary French culture, but also traditional “terroir” culture, since I grew up in the countryside.

Ich als Lehrkraft

After several experiences teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE), both online and in person in France, I decided to pursue a Master’s in FLE to be able to teach abroad as well. For the past two years, I have been teaching French in associations that support migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. I have also worked in a primary school with children aged 6 to 10 in France, and later taught students, and adults in Vietnam.

Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil

I primarily teach using a communicative and task-based approach, because I want my students to gain confidence and feel comfortable expressing themselves, even as beginners. I use a wide variety of materials: videos, music, news articles, games, as well as resources I create specifically for my students. My main goal is to offer personalized lessons, tailored to each student’s needs and objectives.
