Megumi

I'm a very picky student and find it quite difficult to choose a teacher; I tried four or five teachers before I chose Megumi-sensei. By now I've taken more than a few lessons with Megumi-sensei, and I've thoroughly enjoyed each one of them. I plan on continuing to study with her as I prepare to conduct my grad-school research in Tokyo some time in the near future. Megumi-sensei's classes are very thoughtful (often including material I've mentioned I'm interested in!) and helpful (adjusting not just to my general level of Japanese, but also to how skillful I'm feeling on a particular day), and she has a wonderful personality that always encourages me to keep learning. I really recommend her!

Megumi is great! She clearly has many years of experience as a teacher. I have been studying languages for a long time and Megumi is excellent at crafting appropriate lessons for me. She is also a polyglot and can explain concepts in English or Spanish depending on your needs. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

A great lesson about japanese judicial system. A lot of new words and information! Megumi sensei is excellent at explaining things.

I enjoy our reading lessons very much. They contain training of several abilities at the same time: reading on my own as homework (reading comprehension), and then, shadowing, questions and answers, i.e. listening and speaking. In other words, these lessons are very complete. And Megumi sensei is a great teacher.
