Whether you are a hobbyist linguist, fancy learning survival Spanish for vacation, need help preparing for an exam, or want to practice conversational Spanish- I can't wait to be your teacher! I love animals, music, art and culture— Tell me all about your pets en español ¡Vamos! I've worked as a Spanish teacher in Mexico, Russia and the UK with people of all ages. For grammar lessons I like to use books that follow the curriculum designed by the Cervantes Institute to help students achieve the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages standards. I have also taught conversational Spanish, which could be especially helpful if you are planning a vacation or moving to a Spanish-speaking country. Over the course of a few classes, you will quickly see your confidence and skills growing and catch yourself thinking in Spanish. My teaching style is communicative. I like to select and use different materials such as books, videos, songs and articles to encourage my students to develop their speaking, listening and writing skills. I can also adapt the format of the classes to suit your learning methods and goals and that's why I'm always open to suggestions.
