Great lesson today! Mwalimu Pius helped me to understand some idioms and cultural aspects of a novel I'm reading. I got a much better understanding of the story after going over it with him. He's very insightful.

Another great lesson with Mwalimu Pius! Today's lesson was a mix of casual conversation along with reviewing some difficult words and expressions from a novel. We planned some things for our next lesson as well. Mwalimu Pius is the best!

Mwalimu Pius is always a great help when I have questions about the deeper meaning of phrases and sentences. There were some from a book I'm reading that I understood literally, but I didn't get the underlying cultural context. After Mwalimu's explanation it made much more sense. He's really deepening my understanding of the language and culture. Invaluable.

Today we discussed some famous Swahili authors. Mwalimu Pius is extremely knowledgeable about Swahili literature and even got to meet one of the most revered authors. We discussed one famous book, Rosa Mistika, and the deeper meanings contained within it. this led to other discussions about philosophy and ancient Greek society. We made a plan to do some research and discuss further at our next lesson. We always have fascinating conversations.
