I think Deliverance is a great teacher! In our Hakka speaking sessions we talk about all sorts of topics from the most complex to just everyday, challenging and stretching my use of Hakka vocabulary and grammar. Overall, I enjoy talking to her and being able to use what I have been self-studying in my free time. Cannot recommend her enough! 我覺得Deliverance是一個非常好的老師！我們聊天的時候是好好，聊不同的東西，再用我語法和單詞。總之，我覺得我用的東西我在自學幫我好多。我會推薦她的介紹！

Deliverance is an amazing tutor! She is very patient, kind, takes the time to make sure you understand, and writes detailed notes for me to learn from. I've taken 6 Hakka lessons with Deliverance so far and have seen my Hakka come a long way since the first lesson. She has also taught me more about Hakka culture, which has been invaluable to me, especially as it has helped me reconnect with my cultural heritage. Even though our Hakka varieties are slightly different, Deliverance has been able to adapt and also tells me about some of the variances in pronunciation for words, which helps to prompt my memory when trying to remember how I would say things in my variety of Hakka.

After 20-30 Hakka lessons with Deliverance, my Hakka has improved immensely, from being able to say a basics phrases and sentences, most of the time not being understood, to now being able to talk about a large variety of topics in details, such as the subway in China / England, to the different wars in the world. To different food and different weather systems. As I move onto learning a new language (BSL) it wouldn't have been possible to speak Hakka without having these Hakka lessons to have a chance at speaking my Hakka dialect, and to improve, overall if you're thinking of going for Hakka lessons, I fully 100% recommend Deliverance to be your Hakka tutor. I still hope to take Hakka lessons with Deliverance long term but more infrequenly (like once every 2-3 months), due to learning and focusing on my new language. Thank you for reading my review!
