Hello! Thank you for taking the time to look into my profile. My name is Lydia, I am 21 years old and I am a native English speaker from Singapore. I am currently a University student majoring in Economics and I also have a diploma in Business during Polytechnic days. I grew up playing all kinds of sports and I am also a student athlete. My other interests include binging shows on Netflix and Disney+, watching Youtube videos and reading from time to time.Ich als Lehrkraft
Although I teach English, I can also speak Chinese/Mandarin on a conversational level. I thrive to make my lessons fun and interesting by using videos and various activities. I am also trying to improve my Chinese, thus I have been through the frustration you will feel when learning a new language. As such, I understand the importance of being patient when teaching. I am open to different teaching methods and working out of the box, if it helps you learn better. My teaching approach is quite casual and informal, as I am quite a relaxed and laid-back person. I like to take a casual, conversational approach to teaching English. We can talk about any topic you'd like, such as movies, music, food, culture and many more!
I also offer a structured lesson plan where I can help with your reading, writing, pronunciation, grammar and expanding your vocabulary in the English language. We will track our progress on a personalised Google Document for you.
