I chose the option of reading and discussing fiction works in Spanish for my lessons with Rodrigo, and it has been a wonderful experience. I’ve learnt so much about Argentina and its history both through the short stories we’ve read and Rodrigo’s explanations of specific cultural phenomena. These classes do feel like a true cultural exchange! Rodrigo is very sweet and encouraging, the atmosphere is friendly and informal. I really look forward to our lessons. We focus a lot on speaking and expressing abstract ideas, which is highly important to me, and I now feel much more confident than I used to when speaking Spanish spontaneously. Highly recommend!

I've been having great conversations with Rodrigo! I was looking for someone to discuss topics related to Latin American history and culture, and he's the perfect teacher for this type of class. He's extremely knowledgeable and I have learned a lot from him while also improving my Spanish.

Rodrigo listened very patiently to my responses and introduced me to some new idiomatic phrases used in Argentina for our trial lesson. Discussion was interesting and spontaneous, topics covered Latin American music and Argentinian geography/culture.

Rodrigo is truly the best teacher. Every class with him is engaging, fun, and full of fascinating conversation topics. He always brings great energy and recommends amazing movies and short films that spark discussion and help me learn in a meaningful way. Even as a beginner, I never feel intimidated. His lessons are thoughtfully crafted and always push me to think deeper, beyond just the grammar or vocabulary. I genuinely look forward to every session. I hesitated to leave this review only because I don’t want him to get too popular and book up all his time slots 😂 If you're looking for a teacher who makes learning Spanish exciting and enriching, Rodrigo is the one.

Rodrigo is a fantastic Spanish teacher! He’s personable, knowledgeable, and flexible with his classes. He’s suggested some brilliant films that have really deepened my understanding of Latin American culture and context, and talking about them together has been great fun. His sense of humour makes the classes feel relaxed, and he always takes the time to be sure I’ve understood what he’s saying, patiently explaining any new concepts. If you're considering taking Spanish lessons, he's your man!
