I'm Iris, living in Hangzhou, China. I graduated from VU Amsterdam. Cross-cultural communication is one of the courses in my major. I believe I can talk with you barrier-free, no matter what country you are from.
I have extensive experience teaching Chinese. When I was studying abroad, I helped my classmates from different countries to pass the HSK. I am now teaching a wide range of foreign adults, children, and Asians to learn Chinese.
I'm a travel and photography enthusiast and have been to many places, possibly yours! But most importantly, I love learning and sharing languages with people from different cultural backgrounds.
I believe you can learn Chinese efficiently in my class.
During my study abroad, I made Chinese learning plans for my classmates from Holland, Germany, the US, and other countries, and taught them Chinese in my spare time, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing. With my help, some of my friends have successfully passed the HSK, and some have become crazy about Chinese culture.
After returning to China, I persisted in teaching Chinese to foreign adults, children, and Asians. I have taught students from beginners to those who have passed HSK level 6. I would choose the most suitable textbooks and teaching methods for students of different levels. Besides, if you have any specific needs, I can design a course tailored just for you.

Iris is a great teacher. I knew not a single word of Chinese when I started. We began with personalised PowerPoints that contained the most frequently used vocabulary and now we have moved onto forming sentences and having conversations. I would highly recommend Iris!
