Joanne Taylor

Joanne is a very active and friendly tutor. She always prepares suitable materials based on your needs and requests for each class. She is well-organized and professional. At the beginning of every session, she asks if I have any questions or issues with the previous lesson. At the end of each lesson, she provides a helpful summary of what we covered, including my mistakes and extra tips to follow, which I appreciate. This makes practicing the lesson clear and effective, and it's easy to revisit the material for review at any time.

My English journey with Joanne has reached 100 lessons! The lessons with Joanne are always inspiring, interesting and informative. She introduces many poems, and I really enjoy reading them and discussing them with her. I also found that my writing skills are improved a lot. I am quite satisfied with my English progress and love reading poetry. :)

It was great as always. Joanne went through the writing model and helped me understand the differences and how to analyze the text, its structure, and form. I learned a lot.

Class with Joanne is always energetic. She brings different materials to each session and discusses various types of writing. I also really like that we practice vocabulary or grammar points from the previous session before starting a new class.

I like the way we practice different types of genres in class, and I get to write a small sample of each one for the next homework. It's also good to learn new vocabulary, Joanne is good at giving examples for every new word.
