My name is Shuwen. I’m a native Mandarin & Cantonese speaker from Guangzhou.

1. Beginners: we will start from Pinyin and simple grammar that will be useful in every day situations. Also I will focus on your pronunciation, especially tones as Chinese is a tonal language.
2. Intermediate learners: I would like to be strict and correct grammar mistakes. Furthermore, I will help you lead our conversation during the class, which will help you be more confident.
3. Short time users: I will offer you survival Chinese before you go on vacation, a business trip, meeting Chinese friends,or other needs.

Maple was very friendly and energetic. She helped me with pronunciation but her lesson structure and style doesn't suit my needs. I struggled to follow along with her use of the whiteboard feature.

Maple has the brightest personality and I love it. From the second her face popped up she had the biggest smile. Shes easy to talk to, funny and uses humor in lessons so new things are easier to remember. I just signed up for more classes and couldn’t be more excited.
