Persian isn't just a collection of words and grammar rules—it is an invitation to a world of deep emotion, poetry, and human connection.
I am Sabur, a polyglot and language coach. Since 2015, I’ve helped students move beyond the 'robotic' language of textbooks to find their own voice in modern, soulful Persian.

Traditional methods often leave you feeling stuck behind a wall of grammar. My Dynamic Language Immersion (DLI) method breaks that wall down. We don’t study language; we live it.
How we do it:
✓ Cinematic Learning: We use short, evocative scenes from Iranian cinema and series to hear how people actually feel and speak in Tehran today.
✓ Emotional Memory: You’ll learn through storytelling and role-playing, making the language stick because it’s tied to real human experiences.
✓ The 80/20 Rule: You speak for 80% of the lesson. I am here to guide you, support you, and celebrate your progress—not to lecture you.
Whether you are learning to connect with a partner’s family, planning a journey to Iran, or are drawn to the depth of our culture, I create a safe, warm space for you to grow.

Online Persian Teaching Training Course - Saadi Foundation - 2022The course and the certification was provided by Saadi Foundation which is the Iranian government's officials representor and organizer of all Persian courses across the world through Iran's embassies and consulates.
The course was designed based on a book called "How to teach Persian language?", published by the same foundation.
It was required to have a course of 9 sessions with a final exam.

I was delighted to find Sabour on italki: he's a great teacher with a great method. Not only he uses videos with real conversations in Persian, but also teaches you how spoken Persian is actually used, which is very difficult to find on the internet or even here with other teachers. Highly recommended!
