James is an absolutely fantastic teacher who goes above and beyond to make every lesson engaging, lighthearted, and extremely effective. In my lessons he uses songs, clips from shows, and other great media, which relate to my interests and our past conversations, and they help facilitate incredibly vibey and engaging conversations. He’s super sweet, funny, and a wonderful conversationalist

I really enjoyed my lesson with James! He’s very easy and fun to talk to, and he made me feel comfortable speaking right away. He’s especially good at tailoring the lesson to your level and giving clear, helpful feedback and explanations. I really appreciated how he structured the lesson so that we kept practicing the same concepts in different ways until I felt like I actually understood and could use them.
