Hello friends!
My name is K.K and I am a native speaker from South Africa, currently living in Cape Town. I am a relaxed and quirky person who likes to make people laugh. I enjoy being in nature, making my own songs (just for fun), and spending time with my family and friends.
I have a 120 Hour TEFL certificate and am currently teaching children English online. It is one of the most fulfilling jobs I have ever done, and I really feel like I am contributing when I hear their English improve. I have SO much love for them!
I have a wonderful husband and two children of my own who are my whole world!

I always say that the only way to learn in life is to make mistakes! I like to make my students comfortable enough in the classroom so that they may try, even if they feel nervous (which normal!) I try to always listen and be as engaging as I can, while also taking notes on how the student may be able to improve. I always try to provide any feedback in the way the student wants, whether that be an immediate correction, or waiting till the end of a section to go over mistakes. I feel that the student and I are a team, and our goal is to improve conversation and improve confidence!Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
As a teacher, I put a lot of effort into my classes. From the first class, I assess where you are at and what are your goals. From there, I put together a structured course of lessons based on your needs and how you prefer to learn. Your input is also important...we can take a more relaxed and conversational approach, or we can complete worksheets together, practice with flashcards and play interactive and educational games. For KIDS LESSONS, the learning goals I offer are Homework Tutoring, Test Preparation, Travel & Culture, and Conversation Practice. I like to be engaging with my students and always check-in to see if we are staying on the right track according to what they need.Mein Unterrichtsmaterial
