Hi, my name is Cathy. I was born in the UK and have lived all over Britain. As a result, I speak with a clear, neutral British accent.
I know it can be hard learning a new language, so as a teacher my main priority is to be patient and encouraging. Our one-to-one lessons go at the pace you the student need, with feedback given in the way that works best for you, and homework (if wanted) that focuses on consolidating what we cover in lessons.
I aim to provide fun and interesting lessons, and can provide lots of topic suggestions for our conversations. I love to find out about new cultures and traditions, so talking about your home country and your own life is a great place to start!
I have completed a 169-hour TEFL qualification, as well as an Advanced Grammar for Online English Teachers course and an IELTS Specialist Teacher course.
I teach adults only (sorry, no children), and offer:
* General conversation lessons
* Guidance on grammar, pronunciation and accent, either as we go along in a general conversation or through separate, customised lessons
