I discovered teaching when I was 23 years old and I've been doing it for more than ten years. I've taught in Asia, the Middle East, America, and Europe. I'm in love with the process of giving myself fully to the student and to the world. I've won many teaching awards including Teacher of the Year in an American high school and I've been featured in many training videos around the world. Students love how lively I am in the classroom. My passion is contagious and it creates an electric and dynamic atmosphere. I believe that we should train the mind to go further and learning a new language is a great way to do this. É por isso que nas minhas aulas eu ensino não apenas gramática e vocabulário, mas também crio situações nas quais meus alunos podem usar as estruturas novas. I believe that learning a language is like learning how to swim. You can only learn it if you do it. There's no use learning lots of grammar rules if you can't practice them in a real conversation. That's why in my lessons I teach not only grammar and vocabulary, but I also create situations in which my students will be able to use the structures we see.

I have been teaching while pursuing my acting career in New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Germany. I have taught adults and children from many backgrounds for more than 25 years. I teach German and English at all levels, and beginners in French and Japanese. My teaching is clear, encouraging, and structured. Students describe me as patient, positive, and easy to understand. I want you to feel safe speaking, making mistakes, and improving step by step. What makes my approach special is that I use language-learning principles inspired by how institutions such as the CIA and FBI train languages: quick recall, immediate sentence building, and active speaking from the beginning. The key is not just memorizing words, but using them instantly. We practice vocabulary through interval recall while forming real sentences, so your brain learns to retrieve the language naturally. I also use pictures for simple prompt-and-response conversations. This helps even beginners speak from the start: I show or describe something, ask guided questions, and help you answer in complete sentences.
