Certified Korean teacher with a Master's degree in Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language During my third semester of graduate school, I had the opportunity to meet foreign language learners for the first time while participating in a Korean language teaching practicum. Although it was just a practicum, I was able to teach Korean based on the lesson plans I had created, presenting vocabulary and grammar to the students. Later, as I was working on my thesis in my fifth semester, I applied for a graduate student tutor position for a summer Korean language program at Georgia Tech in the United States. I was assigned two beginner-level students and primarily taught speaking classes. The experience was both rewarding and motivating.
