First of all it is important to me to know your goals before we start. There are many reasons why someone would like to learn Norwegian, maybe you have relatives living in Norway today, or perhaps your ancestors emigrated from Norway a long time ago? Quite a few people would like to learn Norwegian well in order to get a job in Norway! Based on your goals I will make an individual curriculum that focus on what you need to learn in order to master the Norwegian language at a level that you need to succeed.

I mainly apply the communicative, audio-lingual, and direct methods which make lessons more interactive. All lessons are tailored to the learning preferences of a particular student to increase motivation and make the lesson more engaging. I also prepare for high level language exams (C1 Goethe Zertifikat for German and French DALF)

Not only teaching Norwegian but also consulting about nuances of moving to Norway As a teacher, I focus on relaxed and practical conversations. My goal is to help you start talking without fear of making mistakes. I know from experience how intimidating it can be to speak a new language, so I create a safe space where you can just try, improve, and enjoy the process. Whether you're a complete beginner or want to brush up your basic Norwegian, I’ll meet you where you are. Let’s take it slow, have fun, and build your confidence together.
