Język polski nie gryzie! Jestem native speakerem, co oznacza, że mój polski jest na poziomie C2. Nigdy nie studiowałem języka polskiego, więc moja wiedza na temat gramatyki nie jest w pełni profesjonalna. Wolę rozmawiać niż tłumaczyć skomplikowane zawiłości językowe ;-) I'm a native speaker which means my Polish is on the level C2. I have newer studied Polish at the univesity, so I have vague knowledge about the grammar. I'd rather talk than explain some complicated intricacies.

Certified teacher with 6 years of wide experience in teaching Polish I used to be an English teacher in Georgia for half a year. I had an intensive Polish course for Ukrainian refugees, but most of my teaching career I spent with Italki! Throughout 6 years I had students from all over the world. I foucs mostly on conversations and using grammar patterns in actual, real sentences than studying various tables with rules, cases, etc. I believe that the best way to learn a language is by speking, listening and correcting your mistakes with a tutor. I also know what it means to be a student as I take classes on Italki myself. I know how it feels to be "on the other side of the camera" and understand your struggles and problems.

Jestem cierpliwa i konsekwentna ale i z dużym poczuciem humoru. Mówię również w języku angielskim i holenderskim, co może ułatwić komunikację, w razie potrzeby. I'm helping with learning Polish, I'm not a professional teacher, but I have an experience in preparing to exams or explaining subjects on the grammar field. I am patient and consistent but also with a good sense of humor. I also speak in English and Dutch, which can make our comunication easier if it's needed.

I taught younger children in high school as a language ambassador teaching students (aged 12-14) the basics of Spanish. More recently in September 2024 I travelled to Turkey to teach a variety of ages (14-65+) English in Istanbul’s English Spoken Café, where students had topics each day that they had to prepare to discuss during their 2-hour daily lesson. I led classes from beginner to advanced. In terms of Polish teaching, I am forever teaching my boyfriend of 5 years new Polish words and phrases, and I must say he is doing pretty great!
