For the past 8 years I have been working in a public school in the Dominican Republic as a psychologist, attending and teaching children with learning and behavioral problems. I love helping people and I would like to use my knowledge to help you learn more about the Spanish language and have fun doing it. Me gusta dar mis clases de forma que mis alumnos/as se sientan cómodos aprendiendo de una forma relajada con conversaciones, textos para leer, canciones, etc. Al no ser profesora profesional, soy consciente de mis capacidades, por lo que no me gusta tratar de enseñar cosas que me cuestan o no estoy segura de cómo hacerlo. Siempre trato de asegurarme de saber cuáles son los objetivos de aprendizaje de cada estudiante (mejorar la fluidez al hablar, el acento, la gramática, etc.) y armar las clases en base a ellos y a su nivel en el idioma.

Me gusta mucho enseñar y aprender. Tengo un gran interés en la enseñanza y además de convertirme en litigante, me gustaría convertirme en profesor de derecho.

En el transcurso de mi vida he dado clases particulares a alumnos de nivel secundario y universitario. No fue algo que he pedido hacer, empezó como una ayuda a personas cercanas y posteriormente los alumnos se comunicaban para tomar clases en diferentes materias. Según lo que expresaban fue que mis clases les llegaba y les resultaban productivas.

Me gusta mucho escuchar a las personas, ser paciente y ayudarlas. Creo que la clave para ser un buen profesor o tutor es la paciencia y la dedicación. Cuando nos esmeramos por planear las lecciones y transmitir la enseñanza lo mejor posible, los alumnos lo notan y es más fácil para ellos aprender y también interactuar a la hora de las lecciones.
