List of School Rooms and Places

The schoolyard is the outdoor area surrounding a school building where students can play, exercise, and socialize during recess or breaks.

Example: The children ran around and played games in the schoolyard.

The Principal's office is a room where the principal works and meets with students, parents, and teachers. 

Example: The student was nervous as he walked into the Principal's office at school to discuss his behavior.

The classroom is a room within a school building where students attend lessons and engage in learning activities. 
 
Example: The teacher decorated the classroom at school with colorful posters.

The music room is a space where students can practice, learn, and perform music. 

Example: The school's music room was full of students playing various instruments.

The art room is a space in a school where students can engage in forms of art such as painting, drawing, and sculpting.

Example: The art room was filled with colors.

A room equipped for scientific experiments and research. 

Example:  In the science lab, we conducted a chemistry experiment.

A corridor that connects different rooms and areas in a school. 
Example: We walked down the hallway to get to our next class.

A room with toilets and sinks for students to use.
 
Example: I had to go to the restroom during class.

A room or area where meals are served at school. 

Example: The cafeteria serves a variety of food options for lunch.

A place where books, magazines, and other materials are kept for borrowing or reference. 

Example: The library is a great place to find information for your research project.

A large room where students gather for meetings or assemblies. 

Example: The assembly hall is where we have our school-wide meetings.

A room where a school counselor provides support and guidance to students. 

Example:  I went to the counselor's office to talk about my future career choices.

A room where a school nurse provides health care services to students. 

Example: She wants to go home, not to the nurse's office.

A room equipped with computers and other technology for students to use. 

Example: In the computer lab, we learned how to use a new software program.
