Mehrdadâs descriptions are correct but it should be ground, not grounded.
If a child is groundED, it usually means they are not allowed to leave home because their parents have punished them.

Minced : small pieces minced meat)
Grounded : like powder (grounded coffee)

Minced is small pieces
Ground for most things like coffee is smash to small granules. For meat it is to push through a grounder to make tiny straps of meat.

British people say minced meat, Americans say ground. I donât know if they also say grounded with the same meaning.
