We often eat tang-yuan for breakfast during the Spring Festival. Many kinds of tang-yuan have sweet fillings, for example, peanut and sesame fillings. They're easy to buy in any small supermarket. However, our family members like eating tang-yuan with meat filling. I have never found tang-yuan with meat filling in many supermarkets. First, we make the meat filling by mixing minced meat, sprouts, spring onion, and some seasonings. The tang-yuan wrapper is made from glutinous rice flour. We make tang-yuan into round balls.
