It's sunny today, and everything seems full of energy! In science class, we learned about two types of energy: kinetic and potential. Simply put, kinetic energy is the energy of motion and potential energy is stored energy. Isn’t that some food for thought? Earth constantly orbits the Sun. So, everything on Earth has some kinetic energy. And anything with height relative to Earth has some potential energy. It's mind-blowing to think that even when we're standing still, we are moving incredibly fast with Earth and possess a lot energy!

Speaking of festival, there is an unusal trend that more and more people epecial young people are focused on the vacation during the festivals. They really care about how many days are off on festivals. They plan to have a trip with family and ingore the traditional celebration on festivals. On the other side, elder people care more about the tandition about every festival. They prepare a lot of food and traditionalfor their children or grandchildren on festivals, but usually they just spend time with their spouse. In such a fast-paced era, tradition has been rapidly replacing by new things .Most people around me know the name of each festival, but they slowly lost the interesting on the culture of festivals. They just want to relax on festivals. So, if you ask me which is my favourite festival,maybe my answer is also the festival that has the longest vacation.

This morning, I was waken up by the sunlight shine through the leaves of high trees in front of my rent house. The leaves shadowed like dancing on the blanket when there was a little breeze getting by. I love this beauty. I promise myself to rise up earlier no matter how late I stayed the night before and how big the desire of sleep is.

My favorite dish is Swahili Pilau. It is a rice dish that can be mixed with either, beef,chicken or goat meat. My favorite is beef Pilau. It is then made with a mixture of various spices to make Pilau masala that gives the dish the Pilau flavor. Anytime you come to Kenya, make sure you try Swahili Pilau 🙂
