I created this story for Japanese learners in japan and abroad, using 30 words starting with "い" from the JLPT/N2. This story is set up to be about my son's job and health.

Há mulheres que dizem:
Meu marido, se quiser pescar, que pesque,
mas que limpe os peixes.
Eu não. A qualquer hora da noite me levanto,
Ajudo a escamar, abrir, retalhar e salgar.
É tão bom, só a gente sozinhos na cozinha,
de vez em quando os cotovelos se esbarram,
ele fala coisas como “este foi difícil”
“prateou no ar dando rabanadas”
e faz o gesto com a mão.
O silêncio de quando nos vimos a primeira vez
atravessa a cozinha como um rio profundo.
Por fim, os peixes na travessa,
vamos dormir.
Coisas prateadas espocam:
somos noivo e noiva.

"What is 접자?"
"접자" means "Let's stop."
"접다" originally means "to fold cloth or paper."
To Fold the paper. 종이를 접다.
To Fold the T-shirt. 티셔츠를 접다. 

However, "접다" has another meaning.
When you stop doing something or an action that you have been doing continuously, you can use the expression "접다."

요즘 너무 피곤해서 아침운동 접었어요.
I'm so tired these days that I stopped morning exercise.

여행 계획 접었어요. 돈부터 모을 거예요. 
I stopped my travel plans. I'll save up some money first.

오늘 하루만 공부 접고, 놀까?
How about taking a break from studying just for today?
