Yesterday, I went to the movie theater to watch Superman. I’m a huge fan of Guardians of the Galaxy, a Marvel film, so I was really looking forward to this one since it was directed by the same director. It was super fun and entertaining. I was also excited to see one of my favorite actresses, Isabela Merced, in the film. I’m really looking forward to the future of the DC universe!

I had a presentation in my university class today. I was really nervous, but I’m glad I was able to get through it. After that, I went to a yoga class and had dinner with a friend. It was such a fulfilling day, so I feel like I can keep doing my best from tomorrow on too!

I had two tests today, and I’m really exhausted. I studied hard for them, so I hope I’ll get the credits. Starting tomorrow, I have a three-day weekend, but I’m not that happy about it because I have to finish a report. Still, I’m planning to get it done quickly so I can relax and watch my favorite movie.

Today, I had a group presentation at a small members of class. Until just before the presentation we couldn't practice together, so we were so nervous. However we managed to get over it!!Then we had dinner together with the class teacher, and senior members who were always supporting us. In this class, we learned about tourism. Today was the last class, so I'm a little miss it😿

Stormy weather today. I started at the gym this morning, knowing I'd spend the afternoon in music class. My guitar tutor was impressed by my diligence, though rather less so by the state of my fingernails – they were so sore and ragged from plucking, I thought they might come off! Clearly, I have overdone the plunking lately. Meanwhile, MeeMaw and Mom enjoyed themselves at a nearby cafe. We truly are blessed. Defying doctors’ predictions, MeeMaw has not only survived this long but improves daily thanks to her medication. My prayers were answered!

Today was the submission day for the assignment of the International Japanese course exercise. It was very difficult because I submitted a report in English for the first time. Moreover, it was more than 1700 words, so it was very difficult to put it together. The grammar and vocabulary may be messed up, but there was a sense of accomplishment. It seems that they will do the same thing in the second semester, so I want to do my best to write a report in English better.

This morning, I accidentally overslept and ended up being late for my part-time job. I’m feeling really bad about it because it was totally my fault. I usually set multiple alarms, but somehow I didn’t wake up in time today. I hope my manager isn’t too upset. I’ll apologize sincerely and try to make up for it by working extra hard.

Weather has been the hottest topic in the past weeks around the world, because it's really hot outside this year. When we walk on the streets with a 42 ℃ temperature, breathing even becomes hard. I can't use the word "scorcher" to describe my feeling about the weather, "melting" is definitely more proper. When I read the news about weather around the world, people from many countires are just suffering from hyperthermia. So,the weather here is also very hot likes yesterday. I hope that it will be cooler in the future weekends. As for me, I still plan a trip to visit some places next week where the temperature are still high. Actually, It's a challenge for me. In such a hot day, what things can make us feel better? An icecream? A swimming pool? or just staying at a room with an air conditioner until the fall comes?

This morning, I ate breakfast with my friend at the university cafeteria. My friend lives far from the university, so she usually eats breakfast at home. But today, she woke up early and came to school to eat with me. I had curry udon, and she had fried salmon. Both meals looked delicious. I was very happy to eat breakfast together. We talked a lot and laughed. It was a nice start to the day. I hope we can do it again sometime. Eating with friends makes food taste even better.
