Teaching Portuguese is my life purpose, this course is THE BEST course I can offer to highly motivated students. :) It’ll be a pleasure to work with you.

This is a course to practice SPEAKING, LISTENING, READING AND WRITING (that is correct, all at once!), so if you are planning to take a test like CELPE BRAS or if you already have a good conversational level but you’d like to explore other topics that might be not that comfortable or if you’d just like to challenge yourself - that is the course for you. 

The structure of this course will be

a) I will send you a very interesting article to read (if the student prefers, if can be a video or even a movie);
b) You’ll be given questions about the article/video to answer;
c) You’ll send back your answers to me before the class so I can correct them and give you written feedback;
d) We’ll have a thought provoking guided conversational class where you’ll have the opportunity to discuss your ideas and learn new ways to express yourself, every new expression will be written with examples and every mistake will be corrected and clarified. 
e) The class could be or not recorded for the student’s studies in case the student prefers it, I will upload them in a special googledrive folder.
f) Pronunciation practice outside of lessons (120 min for 60 min packages) - I will ask you to send me recordings reading/speaking naturally/explaining a topic) and I will take notes of your pronunciation and help you sound like a native Brazilian;
	
g) it might be more - my students know I am full of surprises.

Recommendations:

a) You’d have to be at least A2 to take more advantage of this course, but in case you’re A0-A1 but very motivated, I could design an appropriate course for you! 
b) Lessons of 60 minutes are better, but also 90 minutes are suitable - we could have a 5 minutes break in between - but feel free to pick 30 min or 45 :)
c) To this course you’d need to dedicate at least 15 minutes daily for your outside of class activity

We all make resolutions every year, but somehow we get demotivated after sometime. 
The turn of the year is right time to reevaluate and create new pathways. That's why I created this course for you! 

For the next 10 weeks we will work hard on taking your Portuguese to the next level! :) 

1) How will this course work?
You'll book at least one lesson per week for the next 10 weeks.

2) Does it have to be a 10-week challenge?
No, I can adapt it to a challenge of 5 weeks, 20 weeks, 30 weeks, 40 weeks...

3) To what level is this course designed?
Complete beginners to advanced. All levels! :)

4) What will I study in this course?
I'll ask you some questions before our first lesson and after understanding your needs, experience and expectations, I'll create a 10-week plan completely customized for you.

5) Does it include homework?
If the student wants, yes.

6) Does this course have any extra?

Yes! We'll be in touch via whatsapp or email. :) 
I'll email you every week to ask how your studies are going and help you stay focused and motivated!

You can send me as many messages as you like outside the lesson to ask questions, ask for material recommendations/sources or simply practice written Portuguese. 

I will also listen and respond to short audio messages.

7) What if I want to practice my creative writing??

For those who want to write, I'll launch another challenge: describing one photo per week. You will take a picture every week (objects, nature, animals, food, people), describe it and send it to me. I will correct it and send it back to you.

I have some personal policies:

- Since this course requires planning ahead and customizing each lesson well in advance, so I will not accept either the extension of the contract or its cancellation;
- All students must use a camera at least in the first lesson;
- If you're going to be more than 10 minutes late, please let me know in advance.

In this class, I will introduce you to my teaching method and provide detailed, personalized feedback to help you improve your Portuguese.

I’ll be retiring from private lessons soon, so take this chance to have classes with me! I can’t wait to meet you! 

This class serves as a trial lesson and is exclusively for new students who have never taken a class with me before. If our experience during this class is positive, you can book your first package with me, which includes 20 lessons of 30 minutes each for $270. You also have the option to schedule two 30-minute lessons back-to-back. This way, my hourly rate in your first package will be $27, instead of the lowest rate I usually charge, which is $34.

Please do not schedule the 60-minute class (or the 45-minute class after we’ve had our trial). Classes that do not follow the guidelines will be canceled. Thank you for understanding!

This Portuguese certificate enables me to teach Portuguese as a Foreign Language professionally.

After studying Law for 5 years, I decided to subscribe to take this test, who evaluates my legal knowledge regarding the Laws and my Legal Portuguese. This certificate enables me to teach Legal Portuguese in Universities and Online.
