<What to Expect from the Trial Lesson>

Hi there! In this trial lesson, we’ll get to know each other and figure out how I can best support your Korean learning journey.

Here’s what we’ll cover:
✔ A casual introduction — no pressure!
✔ A quick conversation to understand where you’re at and what you want to improve
✔ A look at how you speak: pronunciation, rhythm, and natural expression
✔ My recommendation for how we can move forward if we’re a good fit

❗ My lessons are designed for learners who can already read Hangul and handle basic conversations.
❗ If you’re looking to fine-tune your pronunciation, expand your speaking range, and sound more natural — you’re in the right place.
✘ But if you're just starting out with Korean or hoping for strict grammar drills, my lessons may not be the best match — and that’s totally okay.
The most important thing is finding the right learning style for you.

You don’t need to be perfect.
The goal of this lesson isn’t to test you — it’s to help you speak real Korean, in your own voice.

안녕하세요! 이 시범 수업에서는 간단한 대화를 통해 서로를 알아가고,
앞으로 어떤 방식으로 함께 공부할 수 있을지 확인해보는 시간을 가집니다.

수업은 다음과 같은 흐름으로 진행돼요:
✔ 가벼운 자기소개 (정말 편하게 하셔도 돼요!)
✔ 한국어를 배우는 목적, 말할 때 막히는 부분 이야기 나눠보기
✔ 발음, 억양, 리듬 등 현재 말하기 스타일을 함께 살펴보기
✔ 수업이 잘 맞는다면 앞으로의 방향도 제안드립니다

❗제 수업은 한글을 읽을 수 있고, 기본적인 문장을 말할 수 있는 분들께 더 적합합니다.
❗발음을 다듬고, 표현을 확장하고, 더 자연스럽게 말하고 싶다면 좋은 시간이 될 거예요.
✘ 반면, 아직 한글을 전혀 모르시거나 문법 위주의 딱딱한 수업을 찾으신다면 저와의 수업은 조금 맞지 않을 수도 있어요.
하지만 괜찮아요 — 중요한 건 나에게 맞는 방식으로 배우는 거니까요.

완벽할 필요는 없습니다.
이 수업의 목적은 테스트가 아니라,
“진짜 한국어를 내 말로 해보는 것”입니다.

This class focuses on pronunciation and speaking practice. The goal is to get used to the natural rhythm and nuance of real Korean—not textbook expressions.

✔ Pronunciation practice is based on media that real Koreans watch and listen to.
✔ Conversation is built around a variety of topics based on your level and interests,
 designed to help you speak more naturally and with greater depth.
✔ Rather than memorizing grammar, we focus on speaking naturally to build fluency.

You don’t need to speak perfectly.
What matters is learning how to express yourself more naturally and accurately—step by step, as you speak.


이 수업은 발음과 회화를 집중적으로 연습하는 수업입니다. 교과서 표현이 아닌, 실제 한국어의 뉘앙스와 리듬에 익숙해지는 것이 핵심이에요.

✔ 발음 연습은 한국인이 실제로 보고 듣는 매체를 바탕으로 진행됩니다.
✔ 회화는 학생의 레벨과 관심사에 맞춘 다양한 주제로 구성되어, 자연스럽고 깊이 있는 대화를 유도합니다.
✔ 문법을 암기하기보다는, 자연스럽게 말하면서 유창성을 키우는 데 중점을 둡니다.
 
완벽하게 말하지 않아도 괜찮아요.
말하는 순간순간을 통해, 더 자연스럽고 정확하게 표현하는 법을 함께 연습해요.

🗣 I don’t use a “typical Korean teacher voice.”
Instead, I keep the tone and style of real Korean speech.
You’ll get used to natural rhythm, intonation, and expressions that people actually use.

📺 Instead of textbooks or scripted examples,
I use a variety of media that Koreans actually consume.
This creates a more realistic, immersive environment for learning Korean.

📚 This class isn’t focused on grammar theory.
We build fluency through real speaking practice.
Mistakes are totally fine—that’s how we learn best.

If you're looking for grammar-heavy lessons, this class might not be a good fit.
If you’re not yet able to read Hangul, this class may also be too advanced.

🎯 My goal isn’t to “teach” you something.
It’s to help you actually use Korean in real situations.
Not just a language you study,
but a language you want to speak.
