Informal Tutoring

中級レベル(JLPT N4からN3)の日本語会話のレッスンです。このクラスでは、私は日本語だけを話します。生徒さんも、できる限り日本語を使ってください。でも、私に質問や確認をしたい時は、英語/スペイン語/中国語/ドイツ語/ポルトガル語を使ってもOKです。

※このクラスでは日本語の日常会話の練習を行います。試験対策は行いません。
※「３０分間のレッスン」は実質約２７分間です。
※「１時間のレッスン」は実質約５５分間です。
※レッスン予約のキャンセルは、レッスンが開始する時間の２４時間よりも前にしてください。それ以降のレッスンのキャンセルは、生徒さんの全額負担になります。

　This is an intermediate-level Japanese conversation lesson (JLPT N4 to N3). In this class, I will speak only in Japanese. Students are also encouraged to use Japanese as much as possible. However, if you have any questions or need clarification, you may use English, Spanish, Chinese, German, or Portuguese.

Important Notes:
※ This class focuses on practicing everyday Japanese conversation. It does not include test preparation.
※ A "30-minute lesson" is effectively about 27 minutes.
※ A "1-hour lesson" is effectively about 55 minutes.
※ If you need to cancel your lesson for some reason, please do so at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made after this period will result in the full lesson fee being charged to the student.

Conversation Japanese (Intermediate Level)

「英語を学びたいけど、外国人といきなり英会話は抵抗がある！」

　正直に言います。私は生まれも育ちも日本、「ザ・ショウワ」の家庭に育った普通の日本人です。なので、母国語は日本語で、英語はネイティブ言語ではありません。その時代では極々一般的な、「英語は中学校１年生から」です。当然、私の英語は、発音や語彙力においてネイティブに劣ります。

　しかし、自慢するほどのことではありませんが、学生時代は親のスネをかじりながら、大学・大学院生時代をアメリカで約８年間を過ごしました。

　その後は翻訳や通訳の仕事、英会話の講師の仕事などを２０年間ほど続けています。公立小学校のALT(アシスタント・ランゲージ・ティーチャー)の経験もあるんです... と言うと聞こえはいいかもしれませんが、実際は家計のことは家内に任せて、子育てと家事をしながら、空いている時間に自分のできることをしているだけ...

　うっうん。失礼。さて、話を戻します。自分で言うのはなんですが、明るく元気で、"大人気の講師 (半分冗談^_^)" ですので、「いきなりネイティブの先生のレッスンを受けるのは抵抗がある」という方、ぜひ私にお任せください。
