- You will learn the pronunciation mistakes that betray your nationality and sometimes make it hard for natives to understand you. 

- You will do practical intonation exercises that will help you to be understood more easily.  

- You will learn and practice sentence stress, making you sound more natural.  

- You will do exercises to learn or perfect some English sounds you do not pronounce correctly.

- You will gain confidence and improve quickly.

Accent reduction / Perfect your accent

To improve your English pronunciation skills, you definitely need to start with an assessment.

You will have your speech and accent evaluated by an expert, and I will provide you with written and audio feedback. My feedback will detail your strengths and weaknesses in English pronunciation areas, such as the pronunciation of vowels, consonants, word stress, sentence stress,  rhythm and intonation. 

When starting to work on English pronunciation, many people get stuck. They don’t know what areas to start working on!

I will give you clear information on what to focus on and a clear path forward.

English Pronunciation Assessment

Do you speak very quickly without seeming to care whether you make a mistake or not?

Do you still make mistakes with basic grammar, such as the past tense? 

Then, you might be fluent, but not accurate.

Are you just the opposite? Do you speak very slowly and with a lot of hesitation because you are anxious about making a mistake? 

Then, you might be accurate but not fluent. 

What you need is to find a balance between fluency -the ability to speak freely without hesitation- and accuracy -the ability to speak without making mistakes-. For a language learner, it is difficult to do both!

I will help you decide whether you need to sacrifice a little fluency to improve accuracy or sacrifice some accuracy to gain fluency. Then, we will work on it until we find the right balance.
