This is more than a chat! I'll give you strategies for achieving your goals. You will do the speaking. I can give you feedback on your level.

We will read a short news article and discuss it. Reading is the best way to learn some new vocabulary and you can practise through structured conversation around the topic. 
Reading aloud also helps with pronunciation and intonation. You don't have to think so much about what you read so you will lose the habit of hesitation.

Corrections are given and students are encouraged to self-correct their own mistakes.

A2/B1 
- We can read books aimed at young people. These stories are usually funny and fun to read. 
- We can also read literature specifically for learners. 

B1/B2
- Let's read short stories. 
- We could also read poetry. 

C1/C2
- We can read any fiction you would like. You can read for homework and discuss short extracts each session.
- We can read short stories. 
- We can read poetry. 
- We can watch films or series and compare film and book versions. 
- We can even read 'literary fiction' and novels written in the 19th century.
