Prior to the lesson I will ask you a few questions about your interests and learning needs so I can prepare a personalized lesson for you. I have various materials for all skills - reading, writing, speaking, listening - combined with pronunciation and grammar practice. English practice for intermediate learners

This is a bilingual writing-centered practice from English to Hungarian or from Hungarian to English.

Translation practice

Studying English linguistics and the literature and history of English-speaking countries (specialization in British English).

Specialization in translation. Legal and business terminology in English and German, translating legal and economic texts from English and German into Hungarian.

Studying ELT, psychology and pedagogy. One semester of English teaching practice at a secondary school in Budapest.

During my traineeship at the European Commission I worked with people from several European countries. I learned a lot both professionally and culturally! I have friends from most European countries many of whom I have visited as well, which developed my passion for travelling, openness and curiosity towards other cultures.

Administrative position in a culturally diverse, English- and French-speaking office. I was working with documents written in all official EU languages, and provided terminology material for translators.

I spent a few months in Vietnam teaching English in five different locations. Afterwards I travelled to South America, learned Spanish and taught English in Lima, Peru to elementary school students.

Last year I taught 17 and 18 year old students and helped them prepare for their school leaving exams. I taught English to working professionals and military personnel, all levels.

I left for Australia in December 2019 with plans to stay at least a year! I was participating in cultural events and activities and started online teaching - I taught people with English as a second language to help them integrate in Australia. Unfortunately in May 2020 the pandemic forced me to move back to Hungary where I am right now, teaching online full time.

After I moved back from Australia due to the pandemic, I started working online full time, teaching English and Hungarian. I enjoy speaking with people from different parts of the world, teaching them or talking about languages and cultures :) It's the best thing now that travel options are limited.
