In this lesson we will focus mainly on increasing your reading skills. 

We will read short stories. I will provide the material. Each reading is about 1 page  or more depending on your level of A4 size paper with/without illustrations.
I will send you the link of the shared google doc, where you will find the story, you can add notes and questions.

Please read your assignments from start to finish before the lesson. Afterwards we will read it aloud and then we will go line by line to make sure you understand everything.  I will ask you questions about the content so that your speaking skills improve along with your reading skills.

Once you can read longer sentences in French, it'll become a lot more fun! Let's read a lot of passages in French together.
Note: if you have a story that you like, please share it with me in advance.

French conversation

In this unique lesson, we dive into a world where learning French becomes an exciting game. each moment of the session is dedicated to fun activities that put your brain in motion and stimulate your creativity: 

-scrabble( we play it as a duo, in an online website)
-the hangman(I choose a word, and you have to guess it by suggesting letters. Each mistake results in a part of the hanged man's drawing), 
-shiritori (First, player one is given a random letter and must pick a word beginning with that letter. Then players take turns with the last letter of each word becoming the start of the next word, you will then make these words into sentences)
-twenty questions(I think of an object/ a famous (or fictional) person, a place and you will have to ask up to 20 closed questions (answered with "yes" or "no") to guess what it is)
-image description (I show you a picture and you will have to describe it) 
-The Riddles(I give a series of clues to describe an object or person, and the student must guess what it is and reuse the words to form a proper full description) 
-Letter scramble(I will  give a series of letters, and you will have to create as many words as possible with these letters in a limited time)
- tell a story( I will give you many settings and you will try to build a short story, giving more details about the place, characters and such)
