This group class is for English students over the age of 18 at a B2 upper-intermediate level, who want to have a lively and thoughtful debate with a tutor and other students from around the world. You can reflect on how gender roles shape family responsibilities and expectations, as well as our experiences in the educational system and the workplace. In addition, you can tell each other about what kind of behaviour is seen as appropriate for each gender in your societies and about any ways in which this may have changed in recent years. I will send a short video before the class, which we can discuss together. This lesson will help you to improve your speaking and listening skills. The class material will introduce you to varied language which is relevant to contemporary society. You will further expand your vocabulary through an absorbing and stimulating discussion. Your confidence in your ability to clearly express your ideas will grow.
