Have you ever played this game where you think of a person and other people have to ask yes / no questions to guess? Well, in this class, I offer you to play this game in French! We'll use the "Est-ce que" structure, which is one of the 3 ways to ask questions in French. The "Est-ce que structure" is the common way of asking questions in French and also the structure for guessing game. I'll ask you to choose 4 personalities (mainstream enough so people coming from different cultures will know them) to make your classmates guess. I suggest you brush up on your description vocabulary (and the sheet provided you will help you for that). Also, in the same document, you'll be provided with a review of how to make "est-ce que" questions, as well as a reminder of the shift of "il" / "elle" into "C'est" when "être" and a noun are involved. REQUIREMENTS : - To book, this class, you have to be A1, that is you're already able to make simple sentences (you know how to make affirmative sentences, negative sentences, and you learned how to ask yes / no questions). Good news: no need to know other tenses than present. - A2 welcome if you want to brush up on your questions. - PEOPLE STARTING FROM SCRATCH OR WHO ARE NOT ABLE TO MAKE BASIC SENTENCES CANNOT TAKE THIS CLASS. After this session, you should be more comfortable asking yes/no questions using the safest way of asking questions in French. Also, you'll review how to use the structure "C'est" instead of "Il" / "Elle" when the verb "être" and a noun are involved. You'll also increase your vocabulary of nationalities and basic descriptive adjectives!
